Oxley Solar Development would like to acknowledge everyone who submitted a response to our recent Environmental Impact Statement and let you know we have reviewed all feedback received from the community, government and other organisations and it is all being taken into consideration.

Additional studies have already commenced and will continue to progress

We are currently focusing on additional visual amenity, Aboriginal cultural heritage assessment, soil / erosion and traffic management studies. The outcomes from these studies and associated findings will form part of our submission to the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. In undertaking these additional studies our intent is to significantly reduce the footprint of the project and therefore reduce associated impacts for the community.

We appreciate community concerns during these difficult times so these studies are all being conducted strictly in alignment with NSW Government COVID-19 guidelines. The pandemic continues to have a significant impact on this phase of our development.

COVID-19 and the associated lockdowns in NSW, have delayed our plans for the next phase of onsite community engagement. We are now planning to be back in the area in late winter / early spring to further meet with stakeholders, providing COVID-19 restrictions are lifted and travel can recommence.

In the meantime, if you would like to discuss any aspect of this project personally we would welcome an opportunity to meet with you via video conference or telephone. We are also very happy to respond to your questions via email at any time.

Once travel restrictions ease we will communicate with you again so we can arrange face-to-face meetings.

To arrange a meeting or for any further information please call 1300 708 818 or email community@oxleysolarfarm.com.au.
